South Shore Community Church

Purpose: Directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and day-to-day affairs of the Hospitality Serve Teams and to prepare the building to receive guests while maintaining an impression of Excellence. To work with the women of the church for dedicated relationship building and development of the women of the church.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

  • Ability to build relationships in order to recruit, train, and raise up serve team members.
  • Ability to recruit, lead, equip, and work though leaders to lead successful teams

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day functions and integration of the Hospitality Ministry.
  • Respond to emails or phone calls related to Hospitality in a timely manner
  • Oversee, coordinate, and implement plans for recruiting new leaders and coaches, leadership development and leader retention to sustain growth.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with Hospitality Leaders.
  • Ensure that the building is presented in a state that exudes a welcoming environment, classified by excellence.
  • Oversee and manage Hospitalities’ data administration, including but not limited to the Database, CCB, Planning Center, Etc..
  • Provide pastoral leadership for Serve Team Leaders and the women of the church.
  • Assisting the Events director with any set up and decoration that is needed for sermon series or special events.
  • Plans, along side the events director, the women’s ministry related events

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Hospitality budgets.
  • Monitor and report monthly defined measurables.
  • Follow accounting procedures, manage paperwork for accounting purposes in your area.

  • Participate in “on call ministry” rotation as needed.
  • Attend Sunday services (30/30 rule: arriving 30 minutes before services begin and leaving 30 minutes after services end) and assist at events as needed.
  • Set an example by attending all church events.
