South Shore Community Church

Purpose: Come alongside the Lead Pastor and the Church to assist with day-to-day tasks such as scheduling; reviewing, prioritizing and responding to emails; answering and returning phone calls; organizing documents; maintaining records; taking notes, and taking on any other administrative tasks that help the Lead Pastor and the Church accomplish the mission successfully.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

  • Ability to build relationships in order to assess, advise and direct a person’s appropriate next steps.
  • High energy with enthusiasm for South Shore’s Vision.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Inbox/email management
  • Calendar management and scheduling
  • Travel planning and coordination (including writing itineraries)
  • Writing/scheduling church-wide emails and announcements
  • Website management
  • Social Media Management/posting/responding
  • Expense Tracking / Reporting
  • Making phone calls
  • Returning voicemail messages
  • Sermon prep support
  • Church Management Software duties/reports
  • Handling miscellaneous task/projects
